An alternative to conventional steel rebar GTF Stiff Grid can be used in both aggressive and non-aggressive environments and features higher tensile, flexural and shear strength while providing better reinforcement and control of surface shrinkage cracking.
GTF’s Stiff Grid is a high-strength polymer structural concrete reinforcement grid. This innovative concrete grid is non -corrodible and provides a durable alternative to steel reinforcement applications in aggressive and non- aggressive environments. The principal function of this geogrid in concrete is to distribute and resist tensile stresses in the concrete structure that might cause unacceptable cracking and/or structural failure. It also increases the flexural stiffness, shear strength and significantly improve post crack ductility of the concrete structure.
This product can be used as a technically superior alternative to conventional steel reinforcement in a wide range of applications such as; concrete pavements, pathways, ground supported concrete slabs, floating slabs, bridge beams, exposed concrete surfaces and retaining walls.
